Results & effectiveness questions

Learn what to expect from your whitening treatment.
What stains do the strips remove?
Our strips are clinically proven to remove stains from:
- Coffee and tea
- Red wine
- Smoking and tobacco
- Cola and dark sodas
- Berries and colored foods
- General aging and yellowing
Will they work on deep/intrinsic stains?
Our strips work best on surface (extrinsic) stains. Deep stains from tetracycline, fluorosis, or trauma may not respond as well to any at-home whitening treatment. Consult your dentist for severe discoloration.
Will they whiten crowns, veneers, or fillings?
No. Whitening strips only work on natural tooth enamel. Dental restorations (crowns, veneers, fillings, implants) will not change color. If you have visible dental work, your natural teeth may become lighter than your restorations.
How white will my teeth get?
Results vary depending on the original shade of your teeth and the type/severity of staining. Most customers see their teeth whiten by 2-5 shades over the full 9-treatment course.
How long do results last?
With proper care and maintenance, results typically last 6-12 months. Lifestyle factors like coffee consumption, smoking, and oral hygiene affect longevity. Touch-up treatments every 3-6 months can maintain your bright smile.
Why do I see white spots right after treatment?
Temporary white spots immediately after treatment are normal. They're caused by temporary dehydration of the tooth surface and disappear within an hour as your teeth rehydrate.
